The Position:
We are currently looking for an experienced Treasury Officer to join our friendly, busy Finance team. This position reports to the National Credit & Treasury Manager at our modern Perth Head Office. Treasury is responsible for the reconciliation of Compass Group's bank accounts as well as reconciliation of inflows that are received from approximately 700 cash sites. This position has become vacant due to the promotion of the current incumbent.
The Role:
Daily journals, monitoring financial transactions and ensure accurate record keeping
Reconciliation of bank statements
Cash-in-Transit reconciliation
Month end close off
Monthly general ledger reconciliations
Liaise with and support Internal and External stakeholders
Identifying and communicate opportunities for improvement & process streamlining
The Person:
Recent graduate with degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field will be highly regarded
Hands on cash experience is highly desirable
Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail
Bring your fast data entry skills to this dynamic Treasury Officer role—where precision and speed drive success
Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, both in person and through formal correspondence
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are needed and experience with Oracle would be advantageous
Positive 'can-do' attitude, who can work autonomously in a team environment
Dedicated, passionate and committed to progressing the performance of the portfolio
