Whether you are an experienced mixologist, or have worked in a fine dining restaurant, we are looking for experienced Front of House team members to deliver our Premium Space offers across the AO Precinct in the following roles:
Bar Attendant
Mixologist
Food & Beverage Attendants
Suite/Box Waiting Staff
Restaurant Food Runners
Restaurant Section Waiters
The Position
Provide warm, attentive and personalised service throughout sessions, that elevates the guest experience
Maintain knowledge of menu items provide informed recommendations to guests.
Serve food and beverages promptly and maintain premium standards of cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism
Collaborate closely with your team to deliver seamless food & beverage service
Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a calm and confident demeanour
Operate POS systems and handle transactions (as required by role)
Follow RSA guidelines and food safety standards at all times
The Person:
Proven experience in a hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a premium or VIP setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional manner.
Thrive in busy, high-end environments and understand premium guest expectations while maintaining attention to detail.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules and can commit to at least 10 days of the main draw tournament period.
Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (this must be a Victorian RSA, or you must have a bridging course certificate).
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays or other items as needed.

All Australian Open roles are casual contracts that will commence Monday 6th October unless otherwise communicated. Shifts may be rostered across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays and paid in accordance with the Hospitality Industry Award. All onboarding and training will be provided prior to commencement.
