$32.00 per hour + 12% super

• Schedule: Friday–Tuesday, with reduced hours during semester breaks (Tuesday–Friday 11:00–19:00; Saturday 10:00–18:30)

THE POSITION

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students 
• Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
• Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
• Ability to work alone and make decisions
• High level of food safety and allergen management 
• Unpaid Stand down during school holidays

THE PERSON

• Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
• Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
• Availability across the weekend
• Self-driven and enthusiastic 
• Ability to work unsupervised 
• Strong communication
