Chef Manager 

• Full-time Chef Manager Position 
• Monday to Friday operation in Term time.  
• Stand down paid during school holidays.

THE POSITION  

• Plan, supervise, and monitor food production
• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students at our college, providing delicious and healthy dining experiences in a vibrant environment
• Ensure contract compliance is met through an understanding of the scope of work required
• Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, mentoring & training both FOH and BOH staff
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices 
• Exceptional back of house control, costing and percentage management is expected

THE PERSON  

• Experienced Chef Manager with a Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery within a similar environment
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain 
• Strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead and mentor teams both back and front of house  
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety  
• Computer skills mandatory 
• A passion for nutrition, sustainability and locally sourced seasonal produce
• Uphold branding, quality and safety standards at each site.
