Chef- Full Time
$30.00 per hour + 11.5% super
- Tuesday to Saturday, 11.30am - 7.00pm
- International college - get creative with authentic cooking!
- No late nights
Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels.
THE POSITION
- Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students at an international college
- Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
- Monitor stock and minimize wastage
- Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
- Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
- Ability to work alone and make decisions
- High level of food safety and allergen management
THE PERSON
- Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
- Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
- Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
- Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
- Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
- Availability across the weekend
- Self-driven and enthusiastic
- Ability to work independently for 180 students
