We are seeking an experienced and reliable Chef to join our team supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business. This full-time role is suited to candidates who enjoy bulk cooking and take pride in delivering quality meals in a structured Defence environment.

Role Location:
HMAS Albatross, Nowra NSW

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and cooking high quality buffet style meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner
Maintaining catering standards and following OH&S and HACCP requirements
Supporting kitchen operations including stock control, deliveries and storage
Monitoring food quality, presentation and portion control
Providing professional customer service during meal service

What we’re looking for:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Previous experience in large commercial or bulk catering environments
Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and allergen management
Passion for quality food with attention to detail and presentation
Reliable, goal focused and able to work in a structured team environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
