ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.
Work a 2 week on 1 week off roster, earning a salary of $95,253
Prepare buffet /bulk style bulk cooking for Breakfast, Crib lunch, Dinner and Desserts
You will work within a team of Chefs, catering staff & dining room employees to deliver exceptional quality and service to the village residents
Adhere to safe work practices and safe food handling procedures
Ensure all catering controls are in place & wastage is kept to the minimum
Offer guidance and support to the kitchen team where needed, to ensure a great experience for all customers
Enhance workplace culture – display high levels of customer service, contribute ideas and be flexible to meet the needs of the business
The Person
You will be a trade qualified Chef with Cert III in Commercial Cookery or Equivalent
Bulk catering, buffet or banquet experience is required
You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Attention to detail and great time management is a must
Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
Excellent knowledge of food safety and able to manage compliance
