We are seeking an experienced Electrician to assist in the everyday maintenance of our accommodation villages in Coppabella, Central Queensland in the Bowen Basin.
Roster is 7 days on, 7 days off, 12 hour days.
Locals encouraged to apply from Mackay and surrounds on a drive-in, drive-out basis, with all accommodation and meals supplied.
The Position
Responsible for maintaining remote camp facilities
Perform maintenance and repairs to defective equipment and testing components
Perform pre-start inspections and keep audit reports
Ensure external suppliers, servicing and lease suppliers provide a prompt and efficient service
The Person
Fully qualified QLD Electrical Licence
Remote experience in the resources sector (preferable)
Working at Heights and Working in Confined Spaces (desirable)
