The Position

We are currently seeking a trade qualified Electrician to join our Delta FM team on a permanent full time basis. You will join our small but committed Delta FM team who work on the remote accommodation sites. This role is based across the Cooper Basin camps - servicing the mining villages in the region. We are offering FIFO from Adelaide on a 14 days on/ 7 days off - 10 hours per day basis.  Flexible start dates on offer.

Key duties

• Responsible for maintaining remote camp facilities, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, generators and handy man tasks
• Prioritise and attend to urgent requests
• Responsible for preparing new installations of industrial and commercial Kitchen equipment
• Perform maintenance and repairs to defective equipment and testing components
• Perform pre-start inspections and keep audit reports
• Ensure external suppliers, servicing and lease suppliers provide a prompt and efficient service
• Additional Allowances available such as On Call, 3 Hour min. Call Outs, Contractor/Nominee allowance, Dual Trade, Leading Hand etc.

The Person

• SA Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• Full C Class Drivers Licence & confident driving a Manual Vehicle on site
• White Card, CPR + LVR within 12 months & Police Check within 12 months
• Well versed in all residential or commercial maintenance processes and workplace health and safety regulations
• Available to FIFO ex Adelaide Airport & work in a remote environment
