ESS Defence delivers the best hospitality and support services to Defence sites across Australia. From dining facilities to accommodation and recreation areas, our teams support Defence personnel by providing consistent, high quality food services that contribute to their wellbeing and daily operations.

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business. You will play an important role in delivering quality service and maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming dining environment.

Role Location:
Kokoda Barracks, Canungra QLD

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with food preparation, service and cleaning duties
Delivering professional and friendly customer service to Defence personnel
Supporting dining room and service operations
Maintaining hygiene, food safety and allergen standards
Working both independently and as part of a team to meet service requirements

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in food preparation or food service
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergen requirements
Strong customer service and communication skills
Reliable with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Professional presentation and a team focused approach
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position
