ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high-quality meals and service that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at RAAF Amberley. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading people, building a positive team culture and delivering exceptional customer service in a structured environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and support a team of approximately 20 front-of-house staff
• Provide strong team leadership, guidance and training
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist with staff rosters and timesheets
• Support functions, events and day-to-day dining operations
• Maintain high service standards across the venue
• Work closely with management to contribute to the smooth running of operations

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience managing or supervising a front-of-house team
• Experience managing high-volume meal periods and service delivery
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Computer literacy for rostering, reporting and administration tasks
• Experience supporting functions and events
• Certificate III or IV in Hospitality or equivalent preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Certificate IV in Leadership or Supervision highly regarded
