THE POSITION

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring timely meal delivery and compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage staff rosters, provide training, and lead a motivated, high-performing team
• Ensure excellent customer service, handle complaints, and maintain patient satisfaction
• Manage budgets, track finances, and minimise waste while ensuring service efficiency
• Collaborate with clinical teams and external suppliers to meet dietary and catering requirements
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, conduct audits, and foster a safety-first culture

THE PERSON

• Proven experience in operational management within a food services or hospitality environment
• Strong leadership skills, with experience supervising and motivating a diverse team
• Previous experience using menu management systems. Experience with CBORD will be advantageous 
• Food Safety Certificate and HACCP compliance, with a thorough understanding of food hygiene practises
• Previous experience with managing allergen and dietary requirements 
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Clearance and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Wiling to obtain or provide proof of immunity for vaccine preventable diseases
