Due to an uplift in our operation, we currently have opportunities for a casual Menu Monitor to join our dedicated Medirest Living team at the North Canberra Hospital in Bruce, ACT.

THE POSITION

• To strictly ensure that patient dietary requirements and restrictions are correctly captured.
• Be familiar with dietary restrictions and special, modified diets to ensure patient food preferences are met within the guidelines of diet or restrictions.
• To ensure all available meal choices are offered to each patient.
• Discuss special diet requirements with Chefs, Production Staff and Dietitians 
• Conduct a final visual check of each special diet meal tray ticket at the end of the tray line
• To assist with the delivery process of special diet meals, ensuring all modified meals are delivered to the right patient 

THE PERSON

• Good attention to detail, taking pride in your work
• Ability to communicate to a variety of different teams, including clinical staff and production staff
• Therapeutic diet knowledge is desirable  
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza (or willing to be)
• Possess a National Police Clearance or a Working with Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Willing to undergo a serology clearance
