Graphic Designer | Australian Open

Bring the Australian Open to life through exceptional design.

Compass Group is looking for a talented Mid-Weight Graphic Designer to join our Marketing, Communication & Engagement team supporting one of Australia's most iconic events, the Australian Open. This role focuses on creating high-quality print and digital assets while managing projects from concept through to production with a high level of autonomy.

Please note: Full-time availability is required from October through to the end of January, including all days of the Australian Open.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver a range of print and digital assets
• Create menus, signage, kitchen infills and outlet branding
• Manage projects from brief to final production
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to bring ideas to life
• Ensure all creative work is on-brand and production-ready
• Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain design assets and support IP governance
• Consider both creative and commercial outcomes throughout projects

About You

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 3-5 years' experience in a Graphic Designer role
• Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of print production and design best practice
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work autonomously and manage competing priorities

Desirable:

• Experience with Premiere Pro and/or After Effects
• PowerPoint presentation design experience
• Experience within events, hospitality, retail or venue environments
