We are currently seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand to join our hospitality team at our central production kitchen located in North Ryde. This is an exciting opportunity for creative ‘foodies’ working within a close-knit team that will allow you to develop your skills and build your knowledge in the kitchen.

THE POSITION

• Thorough cleaning of the kitchen, including dishes and floors
• Food preparation assistance
• Ensuring to follow all health and safety procedures when carrying out all tasks
• Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard
• Stock rotation and stock control, putting deliveries away
• Assist with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Chef

THE PERSON

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced catering environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety
• Team-focused with a positive attitude and willingness to take direction
• Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic knife skills and willingness to learn kitchen processes (training provided)
