The Position

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the BHP Facilities Management – Hard FM Contract, ensuring compliance, performance, and high-quality service delivery. Reporting to the Delta FM Senior Operations Manager, you will:

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, including maintenance staff, subcontractors, and support services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and legislative standards while driving a positive safety culture.
• Manage budgets, optimise resources, and drive financial performance.
• Oversee contract KPIs, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop, mentor, and train team members to foster a high-performing workforce.

The Person
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities, project, or asset management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and lead diverse teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with budget management expertise.
• Comprehensive understanding of WHS and environmental principles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
• Competency in using IT systems to support operations.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Contract management experience.
