Due to unprecedented growth across the east coast remote sector, specifically throughout our Central QLD region, we are looking for an experienced Trades Assistant/Storesperson, to work at our newly mobilised Anglo site in Moranbah, Central Queensland.
The successful applicant will be adaptable and flexible in regard to operational requirements splitting your time across being a Trades Assistant and working in our Stores providing critical and timely support to our Delta FM maintenance teams in the Bowen Basin region.
The roster is 7 days on, 7 days off, working 11 hour days. Locals are encouraged to apply on a drive-in, drive-out basis, whereby accommodation and meals are provided.
The Position
Perform non-licenced duties related to trades, such as plumbing, carpentry, air conditioning cleans, painting and maintenance
Perform stores duties, including stocktakes
Additional ad hoc tasks as required
The Person
Stores/warehousing experience (mandatory)
Open Drivers Licence and reliable transport
Trades Assistant experience in assisting a variety of trades
Working at Heights and Working in Confined Spaces
EWP & Forklift License (desirable or willing to obtain)
Computer skills are required – experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Pronto or other transferable programs
