We are seeking an experienced and passionate Culinary Lead to help drive a premium food offering within a beautiful Sydney CBD location, working as part of a small, close-knit team in a dynamic, stylish, design-led workplace.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a chef with experience in premium cafés, high-street food concepts, five-star hotels, luxury restaurants, or corporate hospitality environments who is looking to step into a leadership role with a strong focus on quality, innovation, client service, and customer experience. 

THE POSITION

• Food preparation and cooking
• Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
• Friendly customer service
• Function work and large volume cooking
• Stocktake and control
• HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
• General kitchen and cleaning duties as required

 THE PERSON

•  Minimum Cert III Chef trade qualification
• Experience in a premium café, high-street café brand, luxury hotel, restaurant, or corporate hospitality environment
• Proven experience delivering high-quality meetings, events, and corporate catering
• Highly organised and energetic hands on leader
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious eating with food safety and allergen management compliance.
• Experience in function work and large volume kitchen preferable
• Confident in OH&S regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
• Willing to work mornings and evenings
