*Due to the location of St Ignatius’ Riverview and limited public transport access, having your own reliable transport is highly desirable for this role unless living local*

We are seeking a Chef to join our team, working Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm, offering excellent work–life balance. You will be part of a supportive and growing team within a positive and professional environment. THE POSITION

•  Prepare fresh, nutritious meals daily for 300 boarding students
• Assist with functions and events during the year
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
•  Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
• Training provided
• Plenty of career growth opportunities
• Flexibility with hours will be required during the school holidays when our focus switched from boarding to camps

THE PERSON

•  Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
•  Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
•  Experience with bulk cooking preferred
•  Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
•  Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
