We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to join our Defence team at RAAF Base Richmond. This role is critical in leading day-to-day cleaning and accommodation services, ensuring high standards across site facilities while supporting a safe, compliant, and high-performing team environment.

You will play a key role in delivering essential services within a fast-paced operational setting, working closely with site leadership and operational teams to maintain hygiene, safety, and service excellence.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and housekeeping services
• Manage scheduled and reactive cleaning requirements
• Develop and maintain staff rosters
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ and safety standards
• Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards
• Support laundry, linen, and accommodation services as required
• Provide excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement
• Complete reporting, audits, and stock control activities

What we’re looking for: 

• Proven experience in a supervisory cleaning or facilities role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• High attention to detail and standards
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• First Aid Certificate (desirable)
• Cleaning Cert IV (desirable)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance 
• Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position
