Catering Assistant

$24.99 per hour on a part-time basis

• Guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per fortnight
• Training provided, but some experience is desirable
• 23 minutes from Penrith at Uniting Springwood

Key Duties

Assist in food preparation and sandwich-making

Serving Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Evening meals

Following all Food and Safety procedures

Demonstrate adaptability by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as needed

Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas and with equipment

Maintain stores and monitor stock where needed

Varied roster available

The Person

Experience in the healthcare or aged care sector highly favoured

Police Clearance completed (or be willing to obtain)

COVID-19 vaccinations completed (or willing to obtain)

Flu shot for 2024 completed (or willing to obtain)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
